If you’re planning on catching a ride on a local subway line late at night this week, you’ll want to check these changes before heading out:
Coney Island-bound D and N trains skip Union St, 4 Av-9 St, Prospect Av, and 25 St
Late nights, 11:45pm to 5am, Monday, March 17 to Friday, March 21
For service to these stations, take the D or N to 36 St and transfer to a Manhattan-bound D or N. For service from these stations, take the D or N to Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr and transfer to a Coney Island-bound D or N.
D service operates in two sections: Between 205 St and Bedford Pk Blvd, and between Bedford Pk Blvd and Stillwell Av
Late nights, 12:01am to 5am, Tuesday, March 18 to Friday, March 21
Transfer at Bedford Pk Blvd to continue your trip.
G trains run every 20 minutes
Late nights, beginning 11pm, Monday to Thursday, until April 10
Allow additional travel time.
No R trains between Lower Manhattan and Downtown Brooklyn
All times until October 2014
No R service at City Hall, Cortlandt, Rector, Whitehall, Court Streets, and Jay Street-MetroTech. R service operates between Forest Hills-71st Avenue and Bay Ridge-95th Street. Trains run via the Q in both directions between Canal Street and DeKalb Avenue.
Additionally, look out for more changes further down the line on the 2, 4, 5, B, F, N, Q, and R trains.
